Finally.....

Yes, I have gone blog crazy tonight! I have been working way too hard lately and decided to catch up on some things I just want to do, instead of have to do. Between TAKS and the ESL test I had to take, I have been on a blog hiatus. Well, we're back!

Here is a picture where I think James looks like me!!!! YAY!!!!

War Eagle!

WAR EAGLE!!! If you are from the Southeast, then you know what I just said. If not, a little background to fill you in. That is the battle cry of our college, Auburn University. Yes, I said battle cry! Although we are recovering from one of the worst football seasons in the last fifty years, we are still proud to be an Auburn Tiger family. We love to see our little guy in orange and blue, and what can be better than wearing Daddy's hat? Hmmmm.....Auburn University Class of 2030????

War Eagle fly down the field,
Ever to conquer never to yield.
War Eagle, fearless and true,
Fight on you orange and blue,
GO GO GO,
on to victory, strike up the band,
Give 'em hell, give 'em hell,
Stand up and yell - HEY!
War Eagle, Win for Auburn,
Power of Dixieland!

A Day at the Park

Some of our favorites from a trip to the park on a warm day a couple of weeks ago. I got a new camera for Christmas and I am having a blast getting pictures of James. James really enjoyed running around and investigating everything. He did NOT like the baby swings at ALL. His favorite part was the bridge. He must have spent 30 minutes walking back and forth across it. He is becoming so independent!

When I heard yours, I think mine skipped a beat!

Sweet Baby,
I heard your heartbeat today. What a beautiful sound! I could have listened to it forever and the time just passed too quickly. The doctor said your tiny, strong heart was beating a little over 150 beats per minute. It is just wonderful to know that you are growing bigger each day and we cannot wait to meet you. It is amazing to me that this heart is the same heart I will feel pounding under my palm when I first hold you. The time is going so much faster during this pregnancy it seems and I know you will be here in the blink of an eye. But for now, little one, stayed tucked away safe. The world will be here waiting for you and it will a better, brighter place once you arrive. We all love you!
Love,
Momma
